Two caregivers sharing a warm conversation

What this is

A live, seven-session online experience for family caregivers.

Your Caregiver Voice™ is a small-group coaching program, led live by Debbie Harbinson on Zoom, that teaches you a repeatable way to prepare for, take part in, and follow up on healthcare conversations.

It is education and encouragement for caregivers—not medical advice, and not a replacement for care from a qualified healthcare professional.

Live and guided

Six weekly one-hour coaching sessions with Debbie on Zoom, plus a one-month reunion and Q&A—real teaching and real conversation, not videos you watch alone.

Small group

The group is limited to 12 caregivers, so there is room for your questions, your situation, and your voice.

Practical and repeatable

You learn the S.T.A.R.T. Framework™ and receive an appointment checklist and online companion you can use before, during, and after every conversation.

What changes

Know what to say and what to do next.

By the end of the experience, you’ll have practical communication skills you can use at every appointment, specialist visit, hospital stay, and phone call.

Ask the questions that matter most

Understand medical information with greater confidence

Be clear with hospital staff about what you really need

Who this is for

This experience is for family caregivers who want to be heard and understood.

You are a family caregiver for a parent, spouse, partner, sibling, or adult child.

You attend medical appointments, talk with doctors or hospital staff, and help make care decisions.

You often feel rushed, talked over, or unsure what questions to ask.

You leave appointments wishing you had understood more or spoken up.

You are managing medications, schedules, or care tasks mostly on your own.

You want to feel calmer, clearer, and more confident in your caregiver role.

There’s room here for your questions, your situation, and your voice.

Debbie Harbinson, nurse, author, and caregiver advocate

Your guide

Debbie Harbinson

MHI, BSN, RN, HNB-BC, FCN

Debbie is a board-certified holistic nurse, author, and caregiver advocate with more than 40 years of experience.

As a nurse who guides caregiver groups, a family caregiver herself, and a patient, she understands how overwhelming healthcare conversations can feel—and how little time there can be to say what matters. She helps family caregivers turn the swirl of daily responsibilities and rushed appointments into clear next steps, questions that matter, and confidence to speak up.

She has been on both sides of the appointment.

Kind words

Guidance grounded in warmth and experience.

“Debbie brings rare wisdom, warmth, and practical guidance to every conversation. When I was facing my role as a caregiver and then later a serious diagnosis, her support helped me feel less overwhelmed and more able to care for myself with patience, kindness, and hope.”

Susan Stewart, MA, RN

“Her caring and experienced eyes and spirit assist with each person’s own unique wellness pursuit, using their body’s own wisdom. Debbie’s work is sacred. And anyone who gets to work with her will be blessed.”

Linda Geiger, MHI, RN, BSN, NBC-HWC
